The University of Arkansas is searching for a new Director of the microEP program, an interdisciplinary MS/PhD program focused on micro to nanoscale materials, processing, and devices. It includes coursework beyond pure science in management of technology and research commercialization. The program reports directly to the Graduate School while maintaining a strong partnership with the Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Biomedical Engineering Departments in the College of Engineering and the Physics and Chemistry Departments in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Clemson University, located in South Carolina in the USA, wishes to fill a position for an Assistant Professor. The type of candidate needed is someone who understands and has some experience with plastics processing of semi-rigid articles. More specifically, they need someone with hands-on experience with at least one of the following: injection molding, injection blow molding, injection-stretch blow molding, extrusion blow molding, compression molding or thermoforming of semi-rigid articles. The candidate will need a terminal degree (Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree) in his or her field. The search will be closing on May 15, 2014.
